YELLOWCAKE PLC - DIRECTORATE CHANGE

YELLOWCAKE PLC ("Yellowcake") announces that Mr Robert Wallace will be stepping down as a Director of the Company with immediate effect.

Robert, aged 67, was instrumental in the formation of the Company in February 2005 when the spot price of uranium was US$21.75. He has been its Chief Executive since. He helped to identify the investment attractions of uranium and of uranium mining companies worldwide at an important time and ahead of the substantial subsequent rises in its commodity value.

The Board of Yellowcake would like to thank Robert, who has become one of the leading London-based authorities on the uranium market, for his invaluable contribution to the management of the Company's portfolio and wishes him well for the future.

The remaining directors hold a total of 3,000,000 of the Company's ordinary shares of 0.25p each, representing 5.11% of the shares in issue.
