Corporate Strategy
Yellowcake’s strategy is based upon the identification, evaluation and ultimately exploitation of opportunities solely in the uranium market. The prime objective is to select interests having the potential to show a good capital return to the Company’s shareholders.
When the Company decides to take a significant stake in any uranium company or project – whether it is in exploration, development or production – the initial stage of the evaluation process is undertaken by the Board. Subsequently, where appropriate, external advisers are engaged to provide the Company with independent analysis.
Since flotation in 2005, the Company’s funds have been invested in a portfolio of quoted global uranium projects which has seen substantial gains. Part liquidation of this portfolio has enabled the Company to make investments in direct stake uranium projects.
Yellowcake does not maintain an expensive corporate administration and overhead expenses are kept to a minimum.
